Limited-time edition dessert collection to be savoured in the moment

Time stood still briefly at Audemars Piguet’s AP Café Singapore as the soft sweetness of adzuki beans, the refreshing acidity of raspberry and the earthy depth of Uji (宇治) matcha frolicked on our taste buds when we delved into the Takumi Sei ($22; pictured above) — a delicate dessert layered with the three above-mentioned main ingredients specially put together by award-winning chef Makoto Arami of Ami Patisserie in his collaboration with AP Café. Fans of Ami Patisserie drawn to the refined flavours and quiet elegance of chef Arami’s creations would certainly take to this meticulously assembled dessert, which is available till June 30 at AP Café exclusively.

Alongside this pièce de résistance is a delightful trio of mini choux pastries ($28) that further showcase chef Arami’s mastery interplay of flavours and textures: smoked caramel coffee with hazelnut, matcha with kinako and white chocolate, and raspberry and pistachio with a hit of vanilla kirsch cream.
