The new offerings from Kamome Bakery (かもめベーカリー) include seven sweet bakes, of which three are donuts (honey-glazed, double-chocolate and almond-chocolate), and two savoury items such as the curry egg Danish ($4.60) and the Aburi Mentaiko Tamagoyaki ($4.50; pictured above), which we recommend for the toppings of mentaiko mayo and burnt cheese on the fluffy bun enveloping a Japanese egg roll.
Among the new sweet bakes, our favourite is the sesame mochi ($4) where the sesame-covered soft bun is filled with black sesame paste and a dollop of mochi.
For the month of June, if you spend $10 on bread or sandwiches in-store, you get to enjoy a one-for-one coffee.
