Daily Chicken opens second outlet

Korean fried chicken brand Daily Chicken has opened its second outlet at Waterway Point, offering its signature crispy boneless fried chicken coated in its iconic glaze to families and residents in Punggol and its surrounds.

Daily Chicken’s signature Gangjeong Black ($18) comprises crispy boneless fried chicken with Korean rice cakes, and a choice of chicken kimchi dumplings or potato wedges.

Spanning a bigger space than its Bugis Junction flagship, the Waterway Point branch sports a retro American diner vibe with a mix of booth and table seating where you can enjoy its fried chicken dishes (made with fresh, never-frozen meat and ingredients imported directly from Korea) to a curated jazz and swing playlist from the 1930s to 1940s.

Besides savouring the Gangjeong Black for its savoury-sweet soya-based glaze or the midly spicy Gangjeong Red, the outlet has introduced the three-piece ($10.50) and five-piece ($15.50) chicken portions as well, making them convenient options for solo diners or takeout.

The Waterway Point branch, designed by Daily Chicken’s in-house Korean team, features industrial-chic elements with a mix of booth and table seating,

The menu also features the newly launched fan-favourite Daily Chicken Chi-Bap combo with two-piece fried chicken or three-piece tenders and a choice of beverage ($15), or kimchi fried rice with chicken luncheon meat ($10), now a permanent addition.
