Following a soft launch on April 24, Sushiro will officially open its 11th Singapore outlet at #02-03 Taste Orchard on May 1. Come July and August, this largest kaiten (conveyer belt) sushi restaurant chain in Japan will see 13 branches in Singapore with new outlets at Tampines 1 mall and Thomson Plaza.
One of the many items for Sushiro’s April promotion – the Mount Kaisen ($6.90; available from April 24 till May 7) comprising minced tuna, salmon roe, flying fish roe, red shrimp, Matsumae pickled herring roe, steamed scallop and pickled radish.
Sushiro’s Uni and Maguro Festival in May sees the Bluefin Kamatoro ($4.90) available from May 22 to June 4 while stocks last.
