Orange Butter Cake with Carrot

Dough Ingredients
250g salted butter, softened at room temperature
132g castor sugar
5 eggs
230g cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
50g AusPro Dr OatCare Embryo Oats
grated zest from 1 1/2 orange
35g shredded carrot
2 tbsp orange juice

1    Beat butter and castor sugar together.
2    Add one egg at a time to beat. Make sure to stir it completely inside before adding subsequent eggs.
3    Sift in cake flour and baking powder. Mix well. Add AusPro Dr OatCare Embryo Oats. Beat well.
4    Add grated zest and shredded carrot, slowly add orange juice and mix well.
5    Pour batter into an 8-inch round cake mould lined with parchment paper. Shake gently twice to remove large bubbles.
6    Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for about 45 minutes. Remove to cool before slicing.
