This Diwali, Rang Mahal celebrates its 50th birthday with the launch of two mithai box collections. The sweet confection is freshly made daily by dedicated mithai chefs who would clean, peel and soak the ingredients overnight before grinding, roasting, kneading, cooling and finally moulding them into delicate bite-sized pieces.
Available in three flavours of Pista Burfi (pistachio), Coconut Ladoo (coconut with cardamom) and Dates & Oats (Medjool dates with almonds, peanuts and honey), the mithai are accompanied by savouries of sunflower seeds, roasted almonds, spiced cashews and crispy moong beans.
Choose between two luxurious boxes — the Floral Bloom ($88) comprising 15 mithai with one savoury or the Royal Melody ($178), which opens with an enchanting music to reveal 30 mithai and four savouries within.
The boxes are available till Nov 5. Ten per cent of the nett profit from the mithai sales goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
