A gastronomic gathering in Nonya style

The Fortune Bundle ($788; pictured above) from Paradox Singapore brings a Peranakan twist to your usual Chinese New Year dinner. Wow your diners with its signature Peranakan-style yusheng offering baby abalones and shredded sweet potatoes with fried glass noodles, finished with a drizzle of the tamarind dressing.

The bundle, serving eight to 10 persons, also features stewed pork knuckle with chestnuts in red Burgundy sauce ($88 if ordered separately), crispy Cantonese-style red grouper ($128 as a separate order) and the pièce de résistance — the Fortune Abundance Pot ($338 if ordered separately) comprising abalone, sea cucumber, XO Chinese sausage, dried oyster, roasted pork belly, fatt choy, dried scallop, flower mushroom, tiger prawn and Chinese long cabbage. For carbs, there’s claypot rice with baby abalone and preserved meat ($88 as a separate order), with pan-fried nian gao with coconut floss to bring your celebration to a sweet end.

The takeaways are available till Feb 12. The menu can be viewed here. To order, click here.
