Onde Onde

黄豆椰丝球

(Makes 35 to 40 pieces)

Ingredients
600g glutinous rice flour
560ml soybean milk (100g Polleney Soybean Power mixed with 560ml water)
20ml pandan juice from the pounding of 20 pandan leaves
500g gula melaka, cubed
1 coconut, grated and steamed for about 5 minutes

Method
1    Mix glutinous rice flour, soy milk and pandan juice well. Knead lightly till smooth (add some water if too dry).
2    Take a small piece of dough to flatten slightly. Centre a cube of gula melaka before wrapping into a ball.
3    Cook balls in boiling water till they surface. Remove to drain.
4    Coat with grated coconut.

用料
糯米粉600克
豆浆560毫升(取100克保龄黄大豆粉和560毫升清水混匀)
香兰叶20片,磨碎取汁20毫升
椰糖500克,切小块
椰肉1个刨丝,蒸约5分钟

作法
1    将糯米粉、豆浆和香兰汁混匀,轻轻搓揉成滑面团(若太干可适量加水)。
2    取一小团并稍微压扁,在中间放入一小块的椰糖后再包裹起来。
3    把糯米球放入滚水中煮至浮出水面。捞起沥干水分。
4    裹上椰丝即可食用。
