The rich whisky, matured for 23 years in American and European oak casks at the Glenfiddich Distillery, is further bolstered with extra intensity by finishing in rare French cuvée casks that also add an extra layer of complexity.
Family-run distillery William Grant & Sons has partnered with DFS and Changi Airport Group for a one-month travel retail exclusive Changi First launch of Grand Cru, showcasing the new whisky in a limited-run outpost (running till October 8) at Changi Airport where shoppers can learn about the whisky and personalise their own Grand Cru bottles and luxurious complimentary gifts to make any celebratory moment special.
A 75cl 43% ABV variant ($350) has been created for DFS, while a 70cl 43% ABV variant will be available through its other valued global travel retail partners when the new whisky goes live from October 1 through other key international airport locations including Hong Kong, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Tokyo, Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Delhi, Dubai, London, Paris, Edinburgh and New York.
